Hi there,
I'm new to OVH and new to having a hosted server, so please do bear with me.
I've signed up for a Dedicated Server, on to which I've installed ESXi 6.7 for the purposes of later building a few VMs. The server is:- (STOR-1 - Intel Xeon-D 1521 - 16GB DDR4 ECC 2133MHz - 4x HDD SATA 6TB Enterprise Class + 1x SSD NVMe 500GB Enterprise Class Soft RAID)
The OVH web console system automatically installed ESXi onto the NVMe drive, without giving me any options as to partitioning, etc.
I've logged into ESXi, intending to us the NVMe drive as OS drives for the VMs for speed etc., but when I try to create datastores on the NVMe drive, ESXi kicks back with an error - "Failed to create VMFS datastore NVMe - 0001 - Cannot change the host configuration. "
Does any one have any ideas?
Thanks in advance!!
