Dear all,
on one of my VPSs, I am still running Ubuntu 19.10, which has been deprecated. Unfortunately, I cannot longer run updates as **apt** reports the following:
E: The repository 'http://nova.clouds.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu eoan Release' no longer has a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
If this were a 'regular' installation of Ubuntu, I would change the destination from _archive_ to _old-releases_ in _etc/apt/sources.list_. However, I wasn't able to find a similar solution for the nova repositories.
At this time, I don't want to update (aka. reinstall) to a newer version. This is something I'll have to do in the future, but I need to push it back for now.
Does anyone have any experience with keeping old versions running?
All the best!
