Domain is ExquisiteTerror.com, and I'm on a personal plan.

I migrated to OVH. Before I did this, I obviously downloaded a site backup from my previous control panel. I installed the correct 1-click module with my existing Wordpress credentials. Site initially seemed to migrate okay, loading properly once I’d updated PHP version. Thought all okay.

Later on, it stopped loading and came up with a database connection error. I updated my wp-config.php file with correct OVH details. This resulted in a ‘famous five-minute WordPress installation’ page asking me to log on. Weird. I don’t remember this the last time I changed hosts. I entered my details and the site is now completely blank, all posts and media library gone. It does however have the plug-ins and themes still present on the dashboard. So it’s not like I somehow created a different profile.

Looking at the backup, I can see all my uploads in there, so the content hasn’t inadvertently been deleted. It’s there. Just doing the WP installation removed everything from the post history on the dashboard and WP thinks nothing exists.

I deleted everything from the database and uploaded the backup again to see if that made a difference. This didn't help. I can see all my files in the FTP window, but as far as logging into WordPress dashboard goes, nothing exists.

Apparently I need a WordPress eXtended RSS (WXR) file to import via the dashboard. I never downloaded this. I downloaded the entire site backup from my control panel.

Another issue has now occurred. I thought I'd try deleting the 1-click module and reinstalling it (not that I really think this would solve the issue of an empty Wordpress dashboard). Trying to reinstall tells me there's an error, I need at least one free database. So I deleted the database and added it again (and this time I'm importing my backup via OVH dashboard instead of FTP). Same problem, can't reinstall 1-click module.
