Hi,
I have a mailbox at OVH and I can't move or rename the IMAP folders correctly.

By default they come as:
INBOX
INBOX.Drafts
INBOX.Sent
INBOX.Junk
INBOX.Trash

As you can see the used delimiter is "." and every special folder is INSIDE the INBOX folder. This does not respect usually implemented IMAP standards and does not help anyone.

I tried to delete, rename or move these folders without success with Thunderbird and Apple Mail, both fail silently.

So out of despair i've coded my own tools to manage IMAP folders, and now I see the blatant truth: OVH mail servers does not allow anyone to move or rename these ill-created folders. When I try to create "Junk" it says it already exists, while only "INBOX.Junk" exists. When I delete "INBOX.Junk" and then create "Junk", "INBOX.Junk" is created.

For F sake, let me manage my mailbox, i'm not underage. Especially with such a poor choice of organization.

A ticket was already opened for this concern as these malformed mailbox break common mail clients, but the staff just closed it without answering.

All of this just proves once more OVH does not really care about their users.

Waiting a few days to see if I get an answers, then we'll be moving our company accounts to another provider that does at least the bare minimum for their users: answering support requests and provide working email....
