Hello everyone
i have a dedicated server ADVANCE 2 created on March 2020 with hardware raid 4x960SSD and vmware esxi 6.7 update 3 build 19997733. First of all the motherboard (Asrockrack E3C246D4U2-2T) it is not present in vmware certified hardware and no IPMI capabilities to show all sensors in vmware monitor. The motherboard ha a dedicated lan port to reach html5 management interface but the address OVH give it (DHCP) aren't reachable from esxi or from wan.
In October 2022 esxi 6.7 will come out from vmware support but i have no idea if esxi 7 is supported. And i have standard support that means NO SUPPORT, this is incredible. They said to ask to this community (it seems little frequented) or search for documentation (poor).
Ok: price of OVH are TOP but without support (or paid almost €600 / year for a € 2000 / year host) it's almost impossible to operate with tranquility.
i think the most painless solution will be to buy a new host with vmware 7 and migrate the current one.
Any ideas?
Thanks
