VPS stuck in “Saving…” for over 24 hours – No SSH, No KVM, No Rescue

Hello,

My VPS has been stuck in “Saving…” state for more than 24 hours.

Service ID: CS14920319

VPS: vps-0dc9828f.vps.ovh.ca

Current situation:

• Status: Saving…

• SSH: Not accessible

• KVM / Console: Not available

• Rescue mode: Cannot be enabled (blocked by “Saving…” state)

• I did not perform any action other than opening the dashboard.

Because of this:

• I am completely locked out of the VPS.

• I cannot reboot, reinstall, enter rescue mode, or use the console.

• The service is effectively unusable.

This clearly looks like a stuck backend task on OVH’s infrastructure (OpenStack layer).

It is not something a customer can fix.

I already opened a support ticket more than 24 hours ago and received no response.

I purchased this VPS for 1 year, and right now it is fully down.

Please escalate this to the OVH infrastructure team to:

• Force-complete or cancel the “Saving…” job, and restore the VPS to Running

OR

• Provide a replacement VPS / refund if recovery is impossible.

This is a provider-side issue, not a user misconfiguration.

Thank you.

Hello,

Looks like your VPS is alive:
