Hello,
I have a bunch of OVH bare metals dispersed on multiple OVH Datacenters and i want to create a hyperconverged infrastructure using Proxmox's clustering capabilities.
Is this even feasible using OVH? Corrosync requires less than 5ms Latency to function well (10ms in less than three nodes setups).
What is the best way to approach this? and in case i have to buy new servers is it possible to ask OVH to set them up in the same datacenter and on the same physical rack to ensure the best latency?

Hi,
Maybe the new 3-AZ offer would address this if you want each server to be isolated? https://labs.ovhcloud.com/en/bare-metal-3az/
Otherwise, you should get less than 1 ms latency as long as you stay in the same AZ/city (I just tested RBX3 → RBX8 and I get `rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 0.296/0.425/0.591/0.093 ms`).
