We would like to warn you of a bug present when Windows Server 2025 is installed on a server with AMD EPYC 7002 (Rome) or EPYC 7003 (Milan) CPUs.
Since update KB5055523 (OS Build 26100.3775) from April 8, 2025, these severs crash frequently with the following error:

Stop code: DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL
We are working with the hardware vendors to find a fix for the bug.
In the meantime, we have removed Windows Server 2025 From the OS catalogue for the following affected server ranges:

Advance-5 Gen 2
HGR-HCI-4
HGR-HCI-5
HGR-HCI-6
SCALE-1
SCALE-2
SCALE-3
RISE-4
RISE-5
RISE-7
RISE-8
RISE-9
Hello, the issue is resolved by the September update so we have upgraded our Windows Server 2025 images and added the OS back to the catalog for AMD Rome and Milan servers.
