I am trying to migrate a website from my previous host to OVH but floundering. I am confused as to what my FTP password is. In the welcome email from OVH the following was listed as my FTP password (asterisks to protect identity)
FTP password: https://www.ovh.com/manager/secret/#?id=*******-e55f-4594-***-ceb93727031a(FTP password)
Question: Do I need to substitute my OVH/FTP password (changed by me as recommended) for the bracketed portion of the above?
Question: Which part of the above do I input as my FTP password? All of it, including the link, with or without the bracketed part? Do the brackets remain? I've tried various combinations when trying to transfer my website, but none of them will work I keep getting 'FTP log in denied' message.
As you will have deduced, I am a novice at this. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hello,
Instead of sending passwords within e-mails, OVH stores passwords in a volatile area.
The URL provided is valid only for a certain amount of time.
If it has expired, you have to set a new password of your choice via the customer area.
