VPS and DNS problem

Hello Admins! I hav ea problem with DNS and VPS, oth bought in ovh.
Few days ago I have bought VPS server in OVH, set it up, loaded content (.net app) and now i'm facing problem with DNS. Yesterday I've bought domain (*.ovh), set up pointing to my VPS Ip addr in OVH Panel -> Domains -> $(my_domain) -> change record -> point to 147.x.x.x -> done. I'm waiting and waiting, and nothing happens, my domains is still pointing to ovh website with "congrats you've bought the greates domain ever blah blah blah", it's almost 24h when I made changes. Client is angry, phone me like a crazy, can anyone help me? I'm new with all of this.
