Hello everyone,

I'm trying to use a sub-domain with a booking software that we use to rent out our accommodation.

We use the BEDS24 software which allows you to use your own domain name to use the software's booking engine.

Basically, instead of having the www.beds24.com url, I could have my own www.location-morbihan.com url.

Here's the page explaining how to do it: https://wiki.beds24.com/index.php/Private_Label

I've gone through all the steps.

  • I created a sub-domain book.location-morbihan.com and then regenerated the SSL certificate request.
  • I created a CNAME entry pointing book.location-morbihan.com to admin.beds24.com.
  • I deleted the ‘A’ entries in the book.location-morbihan.com sub-domain.

I have configured the fields requested in Beds24 and yet it does not work.

Do you think this is an SSL problem? They advise using Cloudfare, but I must confess I don't really understand what I should do.

Anyway, if you have any ideas, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks in advance ;)

Hello,

You cannot install a server SSL certificate in beds24 premises for your server book.location-morbihan.com

You may want to check https://www.cloudflare.com/application-services/products/ssl/#SSL-Page-Pricing-AS

in order to have Cloudflare service the SSL session in a man-in-the-middle scenario.

Anywayy, beds24 should have step-by-step instructions if they don't offer SSL with valid certificates.
