Hello everyone,

I need to use Alsa Loopback for transmitting audio streams.

I have a VPS starter. And I tried with debian 10, 11 and 12.
All are -cloud-amd64 versions and have not the sound module.
On older versions, like jessie or stretch, this worked fine.

When I type "modprobe snd-aloop" I get this :
**root@vps586172:~# modprobe snd-aloop**
**modprobe: FATAL: Module snd-aloop not found in directory /lib/modules/6.1.0-11-cloud-amd64**
**root@vps586172:~#**

I read on the web many things which don't worked.
Change the kernel, compile the kernel, or compile a module, ...

Nothing worked or that was outdated.

So there is my question :
How to install snd-aloop on debian -cloud-amd64 ?

Any link recent for debian or explanations would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

Best regards.

Jean-Francois
