I received an email asking me to renew a certain domain name.
In the email there was a shortened link to the renewal page, which I clicked.
Once I selected my domain name and clicked on “manual renew”, I got the following messages:
ERROR: You have not selected a product/service or renewal period.
INFO: The service abcde.be cannot be renewed.
What’s going on here? I’ve already re-selected my domain name from the dropdown several times, but I keep getting the same error.

abcde.be exists but is not registered by OVH. You cannot renew it here. Sorry.
abcde.be was just an example.
I got the message for another domainname.
Why this error keeps coming I don't know. I hope my domainname won't expire before this is figured out.

What has DNS to do with the payment system of OVH?
My domainname is registered by OVH and it's payment system says I can't renew the subscription.
Why should I contact DNS when OVH warned me that I need to pay before a certain date?
I suggest you to view the status of your Belgian domain name with the registry (DNSBelgium), in order to compare the expiration dates with the one claimed by OVH.
This is not an issue with the DNS servers or the DNS protocol.
If there is an issue with OVH, please raise an incident in your OVH customer area.
