Hello,
Today we have Dedicated Servers with VM inside and we route Failover IP from Cisco ASA firewall to our VM ( all VM are inside vRack )
According to this link (plan to end the baremetal service of Cisco ASA firewall by August 31, 2022)
That mean our Cisco ASA firewall will unavailable soon.
We plan to move IP Block to our vRack this link. (Configuring an IP block in a vRack)
Then create Firewall VM ( like PFSense ) to route to other VM
Question:
1. Do I need to turn off CISCO FW before move IP Block into vRack?
2. If I found that I need more time to setup FireWall VM can I move IP Block out and turn on CISCO again?
Any suggestion?
Need advise to route Failover IP to vRack from Cisco ASA firewall
