@heise, actually i'm not the one who paid it, it was a co-operating job, that my partners should've paid it, and unfortuantely i choosed kimsufi servers, so they can't pay again!

I really don't get you. Windows 2008 R2 is a few hundred Euros. You spend between 40 and 130 Euros for the server. What is your problem to spend a little bit more to have Windows running on it? Sure you can cut your hair but if you ask a barber to do it, well you pay him, or not? Same here. Ask someone to install Windows for you, then pay him.

There is no KVM, or vKVM or e.g. ready-to-install Windows image for Kimsufi servers. Get an OVH server if you want to install custom OS.

Hi closser,

you are mistaken, if you think that HELP/SUPPORT from Kimsufi includes telling you how to install Windows or even install it for you. This is from SoYouStart



Kimsufi support is even less. Further you already know the official answer "no Windows on Kimsufi". You can confirm with with Fabian in the hardware section, if you like. So if you want it for free, you have to do it yourself.

I have read (almost) every post since end of January and I am repeating what I read from official staff before. Don't you see how undermaned Kimsufi is. They can't validate customers for weeks. You question has been overanswered, but you think that asking over and over again, you will get a better answer. Here is a official answer: http://forum.kimsufi.com/showthread....l=1#post155287

So to make it simple for you. You want Windows, install it yourself or pay someone to do it for you. How do you install it yourself, well you can goolge around or follow my tutorial as many did in the past with success.

The thing with the installation templates was explained to you from Danny (official support). SoYouStart and Kimsufi have similar Manager. Windows 2008 works in SoYouStart Manager after paying the licence fee, but will never work in Kimsufi Manager.

Do you have any other questions, please post them, but you will see, it always comes back to the same questions that were already answered to you.

Are you from the support team? then why there's a list of Windows and other OS'es on the 'installation template'? how do we use them?

Unlike SoYouStart you cannot buy a Windows licence. So you can only install it yourself or pay someone to install it for you.
