Hello, at my OVH-Account I have 4x .de, 4x .eu, 3x .com and 1x .gmbh domains registered.
Now I want to give all these domains to my daughter, she is still having a OVH-Account.
What are the steps, to realise this procedure?

Kind regards

How to transfer your registered domains from your OVH account to your daughter’s OVH account

OVHcloud doesn’t let you simply “move” domains from one account to another like a file — instead, you change the contact details (holder/owner) to your daughter’s account.

Steps:

  1. Log in to your OVHcloud Control Panel.
  2. Go to “Web Cloud” → “Domain names” and select the domain you want to transfer.
  3. Edit the contact/owner information and replace it with your daughter’s contact details:
    • Administrative contact
    • Technical contact
    • Billing contact (if applicable)
This effectively moves management of the domain to her account.

After changing the contacts, the domain will appear and be controlled from her OVH account.

Note: This is not the same as transferring a domain to a different registrar — in that case a proper transfer process with auth codes is required. But for keeping the domain within OVH and just moving it between OVH accounts, changing the owner/contact details is the correct method.

To transfer a domain to your daughter’s OVH account, log in, go to “Domain names”, select the domain, and update the owner/contacts with her details. The domain will then appear in her account.
