I want to know how other people are mirroring their drives. VMware 6.5 ESXI does not support soft raid. So currently have 4 datastores - one on each disk. Could I get resilience by backup of each VM to another datastore using Veam / or something similar. Not an expert on VMware - so any advice most welcome.
Or should I go for a proxmox setup to overcome this, but then I have been provided a OVA file for the VM, and am worried about all the hassle these cause getting imported into proxmox ?
