Hello, most of the caches I've tried cause me display problems with Elementor previews; any advice for an efficient, simple and free cache?
I've tried LiteSpeed (I was told that with OVH there's no point), W3, FastestCache, Total Cache, SuperCache, WP Optimize..
Thanks for your advice
Hi @PatrickD40
Most page‑cache plugins can cause issues with the Elementor editor because they generate a static HTML version of the page that interferes with the dynamic editing environment. When you have to choose between speed and usability, I recommend trying EmiCache or WP Super Cache.

Thanks for your reply; it seems to me that PHP 8.5 might also be causing the Elementor bugs?
Thanks
Yes, it is possible and quite likely, although not exactly because of version 8.5 itself, but due to the lack of a specific PHP extension that that version may require.
Problems with Elementor on PHP 8.5 are usually caused by the mbstring plugin not being installed or activated on your server. Elementor uses functions from this extension to process certain characters.
If mbstring is not available, you will see a fatal error such as Call to undefined function mb_convert_case(), which causes the editor to fail.
Let me know, best regards.

Hello again
I've installed emicache, no bugs so far;
actually it's the Elementor preview pages that weren't showing up or were taking too long;
let's see then; this emicache looks great
thanks
