Disable OVH's antispam

Hello,

I just got a new domain (celp.fr).
I no longer see the option to disable OVH's antispam. I think the MX are blank.

Because I'm not receiving the emails from Aliexpress for the email change.

It's because it's not possible to turn off the OVHcloud antispam system that the option was removed from the client area.

Feel free to open a support ticket if you encounter any issue related to receiving your emails so that support can look into it.

Create an Incident ticket:

Manager OVH > https://www.ovh.com/manager/#/dedicated/useraccount/dashboard > My support requests > Create a request / ticket

then:

Call OVH Customer Service at +33 9 72 10 10 07.
Preferably between 8 am and 9 am in the morning, or around 3 pm there is less waiting.

Hello,

If you have a Zimbra account, received spam are automatically stored in a "Junk" folder.

If you set up forwarding, note that spam is never forwarded.

A server that sends spam (forwarded or not) would quickly be classified as suspicious and end up on blacklists.

I just got the response from OVH. It’s next to the plate.
They ask me to contact a specialist.

I receive all emails on my personal addresses hosted at OVH but not those from Aliexpress.

What else can I do?

Hello

I called, and I reached a competent person.

the emails arrive correctly at the main mailbox. But they are marked as spam.
however the redirects do not receive the emails. no trace in their system.

I don’t know what to do anymore.

I will contact aliexpress.

Hi @celp

Since the email reaches your inbox, I suggest you try these two options:

Mark the email as "Not Spam" in the webmail
Log into your Zimbra webmail, go to the Junk/Spam folder, select an Aliexpress email and click "Not spam" or "Move to inbox". If you do this several times, Zimbra's Bayesian filter will learn to identify these messages as legitimate.
Create a filter rule for Aliexpress
For a more robust solution, create a filter that moves all Aliexpress emails directly to your inbox, preventing them from passing through the spam filter. You can do this from the webmail under "Preferences" → "Filters".

If after doing this the problem persists, contact Aliexpress so they can review their authentication logs and sending policies.

Since you receive AliExpress emails, read them where they are correctly received.

To move the discussion forward, could you post the SMTP headers of one of those emails, read from your OVH mailbox, of course.

If I set my email address, I receive it but I don’t want AliExpress to use this address to spam me later.

If I set up an email forward it doesn’t work. I receive nothing and OVH doesn’t see anything.

I don’t see why AliExpress blocks some addresses for us.

I think you don’t want to understand.

Unless proven otherwise, it’s not AliExpress that blocks certain addresses, but rather OVH that refuses to retransfer certain emails incorrectly classified as spam (by OVH or its subcontractors).

Read your emails directly from OVH’s servers and not via an email forwarding.
