Critical UDP traffic malfunction on additional IPs (all VPS)

Hello,

We have observed since last night a widespread malfunction affecting the additional IPs of all our VPS.

Here are the technical details of the problem:

  • Primary symptom: UDP traffic is completely blocked or not routed (no packet return). Our OpenVPN servers, configured on each VPS, have therefore become completely inaccessible.

  • What works: TCP communications (HTTPS, etc.) and the ICMP protocol (ping) work correctly on those same IPs.

  • Impact: All our clients are currently cut off, while some of these network configurations have been running unchanged and without any problem for several years.

The problem appears to specifically target the UDP protocol at the routing level of your additional IPs (or a globally modified filtering/anti‑DDoS rule last night); could you check the status of the network infrastructure related to our services?

Awaiting your swift response, as our services are completely down.

Regards,

Hi,

You should call support, I think; the OVH staff here will ask you for the ticket number.

Hello @HerveM30

From this page you can check the status of its network https://network.status-ovhcloud.com/ even if you find it interesting, subscribe to its updates.
