hello,

yes, indeed, thank you very much fritz2cat. but how do I migrate? I'm now on OVH Cloud because, for the needs of the municipality I represent, I transferred the domains to OVH to give each member of our tiny community an individual email address. It’s obvious that, as a municipal councilor, I have many other cats to whip than managing email password accounts. I transferred a domain name, I bought an MX plan, and now what do I do? So, concretely, how do I do it?

Hello,

Seven years ago we were talking about migrations from MX-Plan to a "new infrastructure" based on Microsoft and OutlookWeb.

That's no longer on the agenda now.

To be able to document you better, tell us whether your webmail is: Roundcube, Zimbra, or OutlookWeb?

Thank you very much for responding so quickly.

By default we are currently using Roundcube. I have searched everywhere but unfortunately to no avail.

That is not implemented on this platform. Password changes are done via the OVH client admin console.

hello,

thanks fritz2cat,

and if my users use another platform like Zimbra or Outlook Web, for example, will they be able to do it? I'm thinking particularly of OWA.

For the benefit of other readers of this thread, I remind you that Outlook Web is a Microsoft product (thus an American company), which for a municipality or any administration is not ideal (sovereignty standpoint). Zimbra now belongs to VMWare (also an American company), which is hardly any better. At the limit, in the total absence of a 100% French product on the market, can we rely on OWA, which is a product developed by OVH based on Outlook Web 365.

Which solution could be the best for my users?

OVH drops OWA for its non‑Exchange offerings.

I don’t know whether OVH uses commercial Zimbra or open‑source GPLv2.
