The first thing is to have a clear understanding of the difference between delegation and alias.
If you want to send on behalf of another account, what you need is a delegation. Creating an alias is useful when someone sends you an email and you receive it at an alternative address that doesn't exist as a mailbox. But for what you’re describing, it’s a delegation.
Depending on the product you have with OVH, it is done from the control panel or from the webmail itself. Which product are you using?
