In reference to the fire in Strasbourg how can I use the automatic backup to restore the vps? If I buy a new vps is it possible to restore an automatic backup to another vps?

We are in the same situation. We do need to get access to our latest backup to try to install on a local machine an restore our regular daily work. Impossible to reach anybody to get this info.
Same situation here too, need access to our backups.
I've reached the support and they said that the backup will be available as soon as they restore the whole system.

I am trying to understand if automatic backups were kept in the same location or were possibly distributed to different data centers? I understand that backup itself can not be accessed before VPS recovery done by OVH?
