FreeBSD on OVH VPS (won't reboot from OS)

I have successfully install FreeBSD 11 on an OVH VPS and it is working well.
I used this guide to install it http://tim.thechases.com/posts/installing-freebsd-on-ovh/

The only problem is that if I am logged into the FreeBSD system (as root) and run "reboot" the system hangs on boot and doesn't come back up.

I have to go into the OVH control panel and reboot the VPS from there and then it starts up.

Does anyone have any ideas why this would be?

Hi,

I have installed FreeBSD 11 on OVH VPS and the reboot runs fine for me.
My installation is more basic and don't use encrypted disk for example.
