Hello,
I was about to order a VPS‑4 as I usually do (12 vcores, 24 GB RAM, 300 GB NVMe, 2 Gbps) when I suddenly got a doubt seeing that they were back in stock across all data centers and, more importantly, that there was a small label “2027” …
After a closer look I noticed that the VPS‑4‑2027 is actually just a faithful copy of the VPS‑3‑2025 (8 vcores, 12 GB RAM, 200 GB NVMe) … That puts the statement below into perspective: “New VPS line: more resources, more security” …
In principle I expected upgrades (I understand them and I don’t dispute them) but I find it a bit … let's say sneaky … to keep the same names while the specs are reduced … It reminds me of my mother getting angry after buying tissue paper; at the same price the pack contained only 9 tissues instead of 10 …
In any case, if some people like me regularly order this kind of product, beware: for the same price (well, to be honest, about €15 less) you’ll get the lower‑tier model …
