How to upgrade database

WordPress advices me to upgrade the SQL server to version 8 or higher.
My dashboard tells me that I currently have mySQL v5.7.
How can I upgrade the SQL server?

this is a website, hosted by OVH. There should be a way to upgrade the SQL server on the OVH control panel (as it is the case voor php).
