How to upgrade from php 5.6 to 7.x ?

Hi everybody,
I'm on a pro2014 web hosting plan, and need to upgrade my php version from 5.6 to 7.X.

I don't know how to request a newer php version.

I do not have any "upgrade" button on my dashboard, and tried with .ovhconfig, but for every version newer than 5.6 I receive and "Internal Server Error HTTP 500".

Can you help me ?

Hello,

This may happen if you have several .ovhconfig files scattered around your file hosting.

Please ensure that only one remains, and place it in the root folder (I.e. alongside the /www/ subfolder)

Can you please disclose the name of your domain/website, so that I can probe for the PHP Version , and also whether the error-500 is triggered by Apache or PHP ?

the site is www.veronicaarlati.it.

I have only one .ovhconfig, just in the /www folder.

I don't know if the error is triggered from php or Apache, in the error.log I don't have errors, in the web logs I have the 500 errors, so perhaps is a php error.

only 1 version of .ovhconfig, really sure, placed under /www.

I confirm that it is operated under PHP 5.6 and it shows correctly on my PC.

You are hosted on cluster011 probably with a hosting solution that predates 2014 and before OVH deployed the .ovhconfig concept.

Can you show the contents of your .ovhconfig file, please ?
