When I created a subdomain of my website for https://cloptoncapital.com/apartment-building-loans/ apartment building financing then I did not face any issue like this. I think you are doing any mistake that's why you are getting this error. You need to follow these step for creating a subdomain:
1) Go to OVH Cloud account
2) Click on web cloud option
3) Click on the relevant domain
4) Edit this domain according to your choice
Just follow these steps and I hope you will not face any issue.
