This time I am a client of a diving service provider that sends me a confirmation email when I have booked and paid for my spot.
The reservation is confirmed, but the emails are not arriving. Already 1 hour and 10 minutes late... Will these emails ever arrive, or are they lost in the /dev/null/ovh black hole? I have confirmation from other participants that they received nothing.
I don’t know if it’s the same problem:
I’m on cluster110 and I’m using Thunderbird on Windows 11.
From time to time, some emails sent from my home don’t arrive at a Gmail address.
@gaston Here I was talking about the emails sent from a website (order confirmation and payment confirmation).
These are not at all the emails sent by Thunderbird.
However, emails you send to Gmail that don’t arrive are a serious issue, and if they are also not in Gmail’s spam folder, and you haven’t received any error message in return, that is a professional fault of OVH or of Gmail.
Sometimes certain servers (including mine) return a response like this:
Your message was successfully delivered to the destination(s)
listed below. If the message was delivered to mailbox you will
receive no further notifications. Otherwise you may still receive
notifications of mail delivery errors from other systems.
Most do not return anything (including OVH, including Gmail).
It will be necessary to go through support to resolve this issue, because it seems that emails coming from your hosting (U291996.cluster121.ovh.net) are being blocked.
