Map Drive to Backup Storage on Bare Metal Server

Should be fairly straight forward but I just cannot get it working, I can ping the backup storage host successfully from my server.

I have enabled all 3 protocols on the Backup Storage section and have no fireall or exclusions in place yet, I have followed the instructions below but it won't map a drive, I cannot browse to the \backuphostname\serverhostname locations either if using file manager.

No way. Even if I give this command, the system says that I cannot access this shared folder because the security criteria block guest non-authenticated access . By the way I am accessing as administrator …

Issue on Windows Server relates to the Backup Storage using Insecure Guest Auth. This can be bypassed by doing the below:

First add win feature: SMB 1.0/CIFS Client via Programmes and Features.
Need to allow Insecure Guest Auth: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanWorkstation\Parameters
- Change "AllowInsecureGuestAuth" to "1".
