Can you be notified of a reply?

Is it still not possible to receive an email notification when someone replies to a thread you created?

I don’t see anything clear in the preferences about this and can’t enable such a feature, which is basic on a forum. It should even be enabled by default.

It is completely possible to receive a notification; simply click the notification button at the bottom of the thread and select the "watch" option.

I thought that on the profile page you could enable automatic notifications as soon as there’s a reply to a message you’ve ever responded to.

Yes, you can configure email notifications in the profile preferences:

Thanks @Asterix for this solution, I hadn't thought to look for it in "e-mails".

The default selected value (when absent) doesn't seem to work properly because I didn't receive anything even while being absent for a month, and I got a notification about this issue even though I wasn't absent!

Let's see if it works better with "always".
