Hello, my hosting is suspended (I took a cheaper one, still with OVH), but as a result I no longer have access to my mailboxes. I still have the domain with a new hosting associated, but I can’t recreate email addresses. Is it possible to retrieve the MX plan? Or delete all the old mailboxes and create new ones? Thanks for your help..
Hello @jeanlouis
It is possible to retrieve the MXplan; for that you need to contact support to request a temporary renewal to unlink the mail offering from the hosting.
Feel free to create a support ticket and share the support ticket with me ![]()

Hello @jeanlouis
Create an Incident ticket:
Manager OVH > https://www.ovh.com/manager/#/dedicated/useraccount/dashboard > My support requests > Create a request / ticket
Post this ticket number on the forum (in case a member of the OVH Team sees it)
then:
Call OVH support at +33 9 72 10 10 07.
Preferably between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. in the morning, or around 3 p.m. there is less waiting.
Or already on Twitter @ovh_support_fr or #OVHcloudsupport
Gaston's right—creating the ticket first and then posting the number here is the fastest route. OVH forum staff can escalate once they have it.
Calling early morning (8-9am) is solid advice too. I've had good luck with Twitter DM as well, usually responds within a couple hours.
Good luck getting the MXplan unlinked. Should be straightforward once support picks it up.
