Python 3.8 for hosting-perso?

Hello,

I have a hosting plan "hosting-perso".

I installed a WikiMedia (v1.45.1), to which I added the SyntaxHighlight extension (v2.0).
SyntaxHighlight uses Pygments which requires Python 3.8 or newer.

The debug logs clearly show that the Python version is the issue.

It should be noted that it is difficult (impossible?) to know in advance which Python version is included in the hosting offers, since, unless I’m mistaken on my page, the page showing the different offers https://www.ovhcloud.com/fr/web-hosting/ does not specify the versions of the supported languages.

Is OVH planning an update to Python 3.8?

I can just tell you that for my Pro hosting, Python is at 3.7.3
You should be able to check it on your personal hosting
In Hosting > General Information > at the bottom of the page > Available language versions
It's most likely 3.7.3 for the personal one as well.
