Automatically back up SSD data to an OVH server

Hello

I used for years on my Mac the software Owncloud, which allowed me to automatically back up data from my external SSD hard drive to an OVH server.

I have just changed my computer, so I switched to new M4s.

I installed only version 6 of Owncloud, and it's impossible to assign my SSD as a client! Every time I get the message.

Given that I have a shared OVH hosting, how can I use it as a backup? I used it as a server with Owncloud.

The disk space of a web hosting account isn’t really meant for storing backups of your hard drives. It’s normally for hosting your website’s files.

On the Owncloud site there is a client for Mac: https://owncloud.com/desktop-app/; if this app doesn’t work, consult the Owncloud community, which will be better able to help you.
