Should all additional failover IPs use the same MAC address on a VPS?

I have an OVH VPS and I asked 2 additional failover IPs that I want to allocate to LXD containers. I am having troubles making everything work and I was wondering whether these IPs should all use the same static MAC address or not?

Hello @RonanF

For two different VPS to work they must use a different virtual Mac address, they cannot use the same one. You should only use the same one if the machine itself is going to use two IP addresses
