Hello,
I used OVH's AI services but they didn't help me! It's been 15 days since I opened a ticket with no response, and a second one a week ago also remains unanswered!
I have an obsolete folder named 'www/requetes' (generated by old OVH stats scripts) that I cannot delete. FileZilla and my PHP scripts receive a 'Permission denied' message. Please reset the ownership (owner/group) permissions of my disk space recursively, or delete this folder for me.
Hello @PatriceM27
Could you provide us with the ticket number(s) you have open?
Kind regards,
Sergio Turpín
The internal FTP at OVH no longer exists.
Deactivation of the FTP Explorer/Net2FTP tool
For web hosting, it is no longer possible to connect to the FTP storage space using the online tool FTP Explorer/Net2FTP. To keep connecting via FTP to your web host, use the programs FileZilla or Cyberduck.
Yes, I deleted the message because I just read this ![]()
My battle buddy @Asterix loves it when I send him tasks, doesn’t he? ![]()
It was the reason for opening tickets. With FileZilla this does not work. So I installed Cyberduck on your advice and it also refuses to delete this folder.
I'm going to log off because I have something else to do tonight. I'll be back tomorrow.
It doesn't stop me from not understanding why OVH isn't responding to my request to consider my tickets.
Fortunately I'm not an online merchant, otherwise the curtain would have been down for 15 days.
Hi @PatriceM27
I totally understand
when you have a problem and support doesn’t reply within the time you expect, it’s normal to feel that way. But let me give you a bit of context on how OVHcloud support works, because this can help you understand why your ticket hasn’t received a response in 15 days.
OVHcloud has several support levels, and the response time depends directly on which one you have contracted
https://www.ovhcloud.com/es-es/support-levels/plans/
When you open a ticket, OVHcloud classifies it according to its urgency and impact. If your ticket fell into a low‑priority category and you have Standard support, it’s likely sitting in the queue together with many others and will be handled in order of arrival and priority.
Believe me, I understand how frustrating this can be, because when you have a problem you want it solved right away! But you also have to look at it from the other side… a company the size of OVHcloud receives hundreds of requests a day and needs a protocol to manage them all in an orderly way. It’s not an excuse, but a reality that sometimes forces us to be patient.
Regards and stay strong.

Hello @PatriceM27
Are you sure it's /www/requetes and not /requetes? The requetes folder is at the same level as the www folder.
This would be the first time I've seen OVH management scripts write into the /www folder, which is dedicated exclusively to users.
The /www/requetes folder strangely looks like a folder created by a user's xxx.php scripts.
By the way, who was handling this hosting space before you?
Hello Gaston,
I'm the one who has been taking care of this space from the beginning. As for the fact that it's "generated by old OVH stats scripts", it was the AI (Google) that gave me this explanation when I searched for the origin.
In fact, at OVH, it's like in real life: there are those who have the means and those who don't. Fifteen days of waiting is an enormous amount of time for an issue that could (I suppose…) be resolved quickly by deleting this folder! Especially this deafening silence...
In short, could you delete this "requetes" folder so I can get my website back up?
Regards,
Patrice
Hello @PatriceM27
In principle this folder /www/requetes should not at all interfere with installing a CMS.
Which CMS would you like to install?
Call OVH support at +33 9 72 10 10 07.
Preferably between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. in the morning, or around 3 p.m. when the wait is shorter.
On Twitter @ovh_support_fr or #OVHcloudsupport
Hello @PatriceM27
I forgot, have you tried renaming the www folder to www_old and recreating a new www folder?
Indeed I can recreate my folder as www_old but I still can’t delete it!
The CMS in question is SPIP.
If I wanted to delete everything, it's because OVH had already blocked my site due to a large number of logs. I tried each time to find out where those requests were coming from, but it kept happening again. So I decided to erase everything (except the DB) to start "clean". That's when I saw that I couldn’t delete the "requetes" folder, which could be the cause!?
I don’t want to reinstall everything if it’s just to start over.
I’ll try my luck by phone...
Thanks, Gaston
Hello @FabL
Could you take a look at this file?
