Hello everyone,
I’m facing a critical issue with my dedicated server at OVH, which has severely impacted my website's performance. Yesterday, I received an alert from OVH stating that my server's CPU had been throttled for 25% of the last 24 hours due to high utilization. The warning suggested optimizing queries, adding indexes, or splitting databases across multiple CloudDBs to alleviate the load.
Since receiving this notification, the situation has only worsened, with CPU usage continuing to climb. I am struggling to understand the root cause of this spike in CPU consumption, especially since I haven't made any significant changes recently that would explain this surge.
I'm reaching out to this community for insights or advice on how to address this issue. Has anyone here faced similar challenges with their dedicated servers? How did you manage to resolve or mitigate the CPU throttling? Any suggestions on tools or strategies for optimizing database queries, adding indexes, or effectively splitting databases would be incredibly helpful.
Despite reviewing the server logs, I haven't been able to pinpoint any specific activities or processes that are contributing to this excessive CPU use
Thank you so much in advance for your support and guidance.
