Following an OVH maintenance, my pro plan ended up on PHP 5.6; OVH restored my version to 8.2, but my sites still don’t display, at least the ones that have a private MySQL database! I tried changing the database address but it didn’t work. OVH isn’t responding to me; could you help me, please?
Hello, thank you very much for your feedback, my message has just been posted and the service has been restored by OVH. My question now is different: I signed up for a private MySQL pack after many outages on my default databases on my shared hosting. Today, my private MySQL pack is experiencing more and more outages. What do you recommend? I have about ten WordPress sites on it.
The important thing is that you check from your client area if there are RAM overruns. If so, the service itself restarts to “drop” the SQL connections and start over. This is an indicator that you might need to upgrade to a plan with more RAM.
You can also access the logs of your WebCloud Database via SFTP to see which sites are the most demanding, in case you can adjust the websites before it gets to that point.
