Hello,
I can’t activate Let’s Encrypt SSL on my hosting. I clicked on “activate SSL Let’s Encrypt” and I got the message “Your request to activate an SSL certificate has been received. It will be processed within a few moments.” A little later, an orange message appears saying the activation is in progress but after about an hour it shows no result. I don’t know which step I missed. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Hello @chan87
To enable SSL within your hosting, your domain name must point to your shared hosting. To verify this, simply go to the multisite section of your hosting:
If the “A” pills are green, the pointing is correct.
If they are gray, the pointing does not exist.
If they are orange, the pointing is not good; let’s assume the pointing is incorrect:
Step 1 of 4: Click on your domain name under the “Domain name” section,
Step 2 of 4: Go to the “DNS Zone” tab,
Step 3 of 4: Click on the three dots of the A field, click “Edit” and change the IP to the IPv4 address visible in the general information of your hosting.
Step 4 of 4: Click “Next” then “Validate”,
Note:
Once the pointing is corrected, you will be able to activate SSL within your hosting by following these steps:
Step 1 of 4: Click on your hosting under the “Hosting” section
Step 2 of 4: Go to the “SSL Certificate” category,
Step 3 of 4: Select your domain name(s) in the “Activate SSL certificate” field by checking the box(es),
Step 4 of 4: Click the “Activate SSL certificate” button
Then wait for the certificate to be created.
