How to enable WAF in OVH Manager

Hello,

I am an OVH customer with a Web Hosting Agency plan and I would like to strengthen the security of my PrestaShop website.

In my OVHcloud dashboard, I see the CDN option, but I can’t find an option to enable the WAF (Web Application Firewall).

Could you tell me:

  • whether the WAF is included with the Agency plan?
  • how to activate it from the OVHcloud Manager?
  • if there is any specific configuration required to benefit from this protection?

Hi @SamyM2,

Hosting plans that include CDN in the offering enjoy the CDN Basic offer.

However, the WAF option you mentioned is available starting from CDN Security, which is the next tier, as you can see here:

From your hosting section, you should be able to upgrade your CDN option to enjoy this feature. Keep in mind that if you upgrade, it will be billed separately since it is a higher tier than the one included with your hosting.
