Does OVH provide FQDN along with a new VPS?

Hi,

I'm going to order "Elite" VPS for testing purposes. I need to access it from the Internet via HTTPS. Does OVH provide dynamic FQDN for the server out of the box (e. g. my-server.1234-instance.ovh) so I can generate a test certificate for it, or do I have to have a custom domain name?

I'm new to the platform and would be grateful if anyone points me to the relative documentation.

Hi, every vps provided with your preferred OS which you choose through your order procedure. For linux (i work only with linux) you get your login details to access your server through SSH. If you want to have the type of access you describe , beside the software you will need to access a GUI you also need a FQDN which you have to point it to your VPS IP.
