How to "Suspend/Shelve" VPS? What is the best way to keep the data?

Hello,

I have 2 Frankfurt VPS's that I no longer use. But I don't want to lose all the configuration with kubernetes, postgres, nginx, etc.

I understand there is no option to "Suspend"/"Shelve" a VPS. What would be the best option similar to that? Is it possible to take snapshots of the VPS and then cancel the service on VPS? Or do I have to download all the information I want to keep manualy?

What would you suggest?

Yes, you can create a snapshot of your VPS and then cancel the service.

Steps to follow if you want to keep the configuration:

  1. Enable the Snapshot option -> Go to the client area, to your VPS section. Look for the "Backup" panel and enable the "Snapshot" option.
  2. Create and download the snapshot.
  3. Cancel the VPS.

This way you will be able to reload the Snapshot whenever you wish in the future :slight_smile:
