OVHcloud unveils its AI Workspace ➡️ Email, drive, video calls and AI agent

Hello everyone, :waving_hand:

Yesterday, live from the VivaTech exhibition, Octave Klaba announced on BFM Business the launch of our new solution: OVHcloud AI Workspace.

To keep it simple, it's a new suite of tools designed to make the everyday use of artificial intelligence easier for your teams. As always, the goal is to provide you with high‑performance solutions while guaranteeing full sovereignty and total confidentiality of your data.

:backhand_index_pointing_right: To see exactly what this new offering holds for you, all the details are in the official press release: OVHcloud launches AI Workspace

Thanks @FabL

Is it planned to replace Microsoft Office 365 as well as Google’s tools?

I find it a shame that new models aren’t added more quickly on https://www.ovhcloud.com/fr/public-cloud/ai-endpoints/catalog/

For example Quen (certainly the best open‑source AI for coding) is at 3.7 elsewhere. At OVH it’s 3.6 in “new”…

Am I being demanding? Yes, I know

I might be old‑fashioned... but honestly, in this case I think Octave has somewhat lost his interlocutor by throwing too many technical terms at him in just four minutes.

Couldn't we use AI to translate this interview into a version understandable for an ordinary journalist, or even for a business executive who isn’t very tech‑savvy?

Hello,

I didn't really dare to admit it, but I must say I had difficulties understanding everything.

In particular the term Agentic AI (IA Agentique) which I have trouble grasping. Even with Copilot's help.

Hi @FabL

The bet on a European, open, agentic AI with native E2EE encryption seems like a great idea to me. I’ll take a look

Sergio Turpín

AI agents are capable of acting on their own, they have assigned tasks, can read emails, make summaries, respond, etc.

All this without having to manage each action; the “bot” is programmed to scan once or multiple times a day, and does its job all by itself.

Same for press reviews, for example, to get a summary of the news on certain topics.

Agents can also make appointments, book a plane ticket, a train ticket, etc.

But personally, for now, I’m not touching it; you need to have real faith in your agent(s) to let them access your payment method

I totally agree.

Exactly the same thing happens to me, I know they help you, yes, but right now I have a lot of respect for them and I'd rather wait

The first topic where I’ll let an LLM run autonomously is to determine which emails are spam on my Postfix relays. And that’s exactly where I need a trusted API endpoint with confidential inference.
Project for this summer
