Switch from Mx Plan to Exchange

Hello,

I am looking to move from Mx Plan to Exchange for storage reasons, keeping my original email (let's call it martin@nomdedomaine.fr). I understood that I needed to create an alternative address, which I did (martin2@nomdedomaine.fr), and I set it as the primary contact address in my OVH client area.

When I try to configure my Exchange service with my desired email address, I get the following error message:

"This email account cannot be automatically migrated to your Exchange service. You must be the administrator and technical contact of both services."

I don’t understand what this means. Should I instead use the “migrate account” tool offered in the options menu of my mail in the Mx Plan section?

Thank you for your help, all this is really not intuitive!!

Take a look in "contact management", do you have the required rights on these two services?

Only OVH support can help you if their interface is buggy.
