Publishing new site on Hosting-free 100

I activated a free 100 M hosting plan and, using Filezilla, uploaded an index.html page to the www folder, replacing the default one.
When the site loads, however, the "Site en construction" page always appears instead of mine.
What did I do wrong? What haven’t I finished yet?

Here is a short guide I wrote that might give you some clarification for a complete and clean installation of your site.

The "site under construction" page is often visible mainly because of these two reasons:

1 - Your domain name isn’t pointing to your Start100M hosting :

Step 1 of 4: Click your domain name under the "Domain name" section,
Step 2 of 4: Go to the "DNS Zone" tab,
Step 3 of 4: Click the three little dots in the A record field, click "edit" and replace the IP with the IPv4 address of your free hosting, visible in the general information of your hosting.
Step 4 of 4: Click "Next" then "Validate",

Note :

  • If your DNS zone contains two A‑type entries, both must point to that IPv4 address.
  • If your domain uses AAAA records, you also need to point your domain to the IPv6 address of your hosting.
  • A DNS propagation delay is required for these changes to take effect; this delay ranges from 4 to 24 hours.

2 - The "index.html" shortcut corresponding to the "site under construction" page is present on the FTP :

If that’s the case, just connect to the FTP and delete it.
