Ubuntu 26.04 LTS availability for OVHcloud VPS installation image

Ubuntu 26.04 LTS was released on 23 April 2026.

Is there an estimated date for Ubuntu Server 26.04 LTS to become available as an installation image for OVHcloud VPS?

I am specifically asking about the current VPS product line in the OVHcloud dashboard, not Public Cloud images.

For comparison, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS appeared for VPS a few weeks after release, so I am wondering whether 26.04 is expected around the same timeframe or whether OVHcloud plans to wait for 26.04.1.

I am specifically asking about the current VPS product line in the OVHcloud dashboard, not Public Cloud images.

It should be available in the coming weeks. The public cloud teams are working on it as we speak.
